Message for Victims of Fraud, Identity Theft and other Crimes

Message from the Founder

During my career as a Special Agent for the FBI I had many occasions to deal with victims of many types of crimes so I understand the pain, frustration, and sense of violation that you feel. During my career as an FBI agent it was my pleasure to have investigated, arrested and prosecuted many types of criminals to include major drug traffickers of several nationalities and various ethnic groups, violent criminals such as bank robbers and kidnappers, thieves of all types small and large, terrorists both domestic and foreign, white collar criminals and professional con artists. However, out all of the above, the one I most detest and the one I have the greatest passion for pursuing are the professional con artists. I simply can not stand their habitual prevaricating and/or obfuscation of the truth, or more often, their bald face lying, all while hiding behind a false veneer of legitimacy and respectability. Thus, I have a passion for putting con artists, and this includes identity thieves, out of business and making them pay for their deeds.

First, prevent becoming a victim:

In order to prevent becoming a victim of a fraud, if you are about to enter into a transaction that sounds “too goo to be true,” then it probably is. Contact ALSI before you are ripped off and let us investigate the person(s) and/or company you are dealing with. This is definitely an area where an “ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

In order to prevent becoming a victim of Identity Theft, ALSI can advise you on measures to take to protect your identity. (It’s is not complicated; however, there is no way to completely protect yourself from Identity Theft.)

Second, after becoming a victim, take immediate action:

In order to mitigate the financial damage of becoming the victim of a fraud or Identity theft, you need immediate professional assistance. This is where ALSI is different. With my vast experience in dealing with con artists, I can advise you as to how to prevent further damage while preserving evidence that may be used against the con man in either a criminal prosecution or civil action to recover your money. Utilizing my significant contacts with law enforcement, I will coordinate my investigation with governmental investigators to bring the perpetrator to justice.

The hard part:

Now comes the really hard part, finding out who did it, where your money went, and determining how to get your money back. I can tell you from personal experience that the government response will be focused primarily on the first, finding out who did it. Rarely, will little if any investigation be conducted to “follow the money” and almost never will the government ever expend any effort to get your money back, and in the rare case where they do, the criminal process is simply too slow to ever recover your money.

What makes ALSI different?

This is where we are different. ALSI investigators will aggressively pursue the money and identify the perpetrator. Then comes the hardest part, getting your money back.

If you have an attorney we can work with your attorney to support his efforts to recover your money. If you do not have an attorney, I will initiate legal action in order to recover your money. This may be a long and difficult process, but I will not rest until you get justice. However, it is essential that once you suspect that you might, or already have become the victim of a fraud or Identity Theft that you contact ALSI immediately. You can click on the “Contact Us” tab in the toolbar above to do so now.
